Bezel Engagement Rings

A bezel setting wraps a thin rim of metal fully or partly around the centre stone instead of holding it with prongs. It is the most secure setting we make. Nothing protrudes to catch on clothing, hair or gloves, and the girdle of the stone — its most fragile edge — is completely shielded.

If you work with your hands, wear gloves, lift, garden, or simply do not want to think about your ring, this is the setting to choose. It is the one we recommend most often to nurses, teachers, chefs and anyone in a trade, and the one that comes back for repair least.

Visually a bezel reads modern and clean, and the metal rim can make the stone appear slightly larger by extending its outline. The trade-off is a little less light entering from the sides, so cut quality matters. Handcrafted in 10k, 14k and 18k gold and platinum with IGI-certified lab grown diamonds or moissanite.
