Lab Diamond Bracelets

A bracelet takes more physical punishment than any other piece of jewellery — it knocks against desks, doorframes and steering wheels all day. That makes the setting and the clasp the two things worth scrutinising, ahead of carat weight.

Bezel and channel settings sit the stones level with or below the metal, so nothing protrudes to catch or chip. Prong settings show more of the diamond and let in more light, but need checking periodically if you wear the bracelet daily.

On clasps, we use a box clasp with a figure-eight safety catch on diamond bracelets: two independent mechanisms rather than one, because the clasp is where bracelets are lost.
