Round Rings

The round brilliant is the most engineered cut in jewellery. Its 57 or 58 facets were calculated to return the maximum possible light to the eye, and nothing has beaten it since for pure sparkle.

Because demand is highest, round costs the most per carat of any shape — you pay for the cutting waste and for the popularity. It is also the shape where cut grade matters most: an excellent-cut round at a lower colour grade outperforms a poorly cut stone two grades higher, every time.

Round also hides warmth and inclusions better than any step cut, which makes a well-chosen lab grown round exceptional value. Available in 10k, 14k and 18k gold and platinum.
