Stud Earrings

Diamond studs are the piece most people wear every single day, so the fitting matters as much as the stone. We use screw-back posts on anything above roughly half a carat total weight — friction backs work loose over time, and a lost stud is the most common jewellery loss there is.

Total carat weight is quoted for the pair, not per earring, which is worth knowing when comparing. A 1ct pair means two 0.5ct stones. On the lobe, 0.5ct total reads delicate, 1ct total is the classic everyday size, and 2ct total is unmistakable.
